01

Are these courses only for divers?

No. While the DAN Oxygen modules are diving-specific, our BLS (Basic Life Support), First Aid and TCCC courses are open to everyone. They are ideal for companies, extreme-sports enthusiasts or anyone who wants to learn how to respond to a household accident or a crisis.

02

What is TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) and why take it?

TCCC is a military-derived approach to treating casualties in hostile or remote environments. At Neotec, we adapt these techniques for civilians and expeditions. You'll learn to manage massive bleeding (tourniquet), secure an area and act under intense stress. It's the next level up from standard first aid.

03

Are the certifications recognised?

Yes. We issue international DAN (Divers Alert Network) and First Response Training International certifications. These qualifications are recognised worldwide by dive centres, employers and civil-protection organisations.

04

Do I need my own first-aid equipment?

No, all training equipment (manikins, training defibrillators, oxygen kits, tactical gear) is provided during the course. However, we can advise you and supply professional first-aid kits for purchase, for your personal use or your club.

05

What's the difference between a standard first-aid course and the Neotec approach?

The instructor's experience. Sébastien Wilem is a former law-enforcement professional and Instructor Trainer. The Neotec approach goes beyond theory: we focus on stress management and the psychology of intervention. You won't just know what to do — you'll be mentally ready to do it.
